 Challenge 2000 SARL is a Senegalese engineering and construction company delivering plant installation/erection and maintenance services to the mining, energy & utility sectors in West Africa.

Our company offer services in construction & maintenance of industrial facilities within the best range of cost and quality ratio.

We have been evolving in the mining sector since 2008 starting with the construction of the first industrial gold mine in Senegal –the Sabodala Gold Mine. We have recently worked on the construction of the second gold mine in Senegal- Mako Gold Project, where we were among the most remarkable service-providers to the EPCM contractor and the Mining Services contractor

We do provide a wide range of construction and maintenance services to our customers in the energy and utility sectors in Senegal from power plant works to piping works for water supply.

Challenge 2000 SARL has the required talents and leadership to deliver on any type of industrial projects. Its Project management team uses best practiced methods and tools, from scoping to commissioning through planning and execution, to manage the project triangle-time, cost and quality and achieve the project outcomes to the expectations of all stakeholders and partners.

Our main assets are our well-motivated and experienced staff and our ability to acquire required talents in a short notice thanks to our collaboration with our sister company C2K Staffing (www.c2kstaffing.com).

Our team is composed of:

  • 2 Project managers
  • 4 Project engineers ( 2 Mechanical, 1 Electrical, 1 Civil)
  • 10 Supervisors and team leaders
  • 200 + Qualified workers (erectors, boilermakers, welders, pipe fitters, mechanical fitters, riggers, equipment operators, HDPE welders, Belt splicers, Mill Reliners, scaffolders, electricians, masons, carpenters and so on)

  • 8 Generators ranging from 5 kVA to 40kVA
  • 4 HDPE pipe welding machines ( from 40mm to 630mm)
